Title: Systems Administrator/Support Technician
Summary: Blue Sky Tech is an Information Technology services company with a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction. We offer our (nationwide) clients, in both public and private sectors, a complete range of professional services from design through implementation, operations and beyond. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform technical support and systems administration in a PC/Microsoft/Mac/Apple environment at both customer and corporate locations.
Duties: (include but are not limited to)
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot: pc/mac hardware/os/software, Android, iPhone and other handheld devices, printer hardware/software, wireless network products, VPN solutions, dsl/cable and network hardware/software, Anti-Malware, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, remote access hardware and software and network and security camera systems
- PC and Apple systems/data recovery after catastrophic failure
- Data migration in various platforms such as Exchange and other e-mail systems
- Operating System, e-mail, cloud and software user setup and maintenance
- Equipment/software procurement and management for customer and corporate locations
- Equipment relocation for customer and corporate locations
- Perform and document system analysis for customers
- Maintain equipment/user documentation for customer and corporate locations
- Provide phone and remote support to nationwide clients
Requirements:
Must have a customer oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills.
Team player able to work well in small-office environment.
Travel to off site client locations in Greater Washington, DC area.
Occasional lifting of heavy technology equipment
Should expect occasional after-hours work to respond to emergencies.
Good verbal and writing skills. Strong problem solver and "can do" approach.
Experience/Education:
Specific experience with systems administration of windows/mac based hardware and software.
College Degree or equivalent IT experience desirable. Will consider current undergraduates in relevant major.
